BCB000 - Regional Cores

BCB000%20-%20Regional%20Cores_edited.jpg

BCB Cores allow to create networks of BCB devices thus allowing to have distributed intelligence in large areas. While some BCB devices can be used as stand alone devices, they are meant to work in cells in order to detect complex situations that are typically detected by events occurring in very disperse areas. Just as an example you could think in a hunting scenario where hunters arrive to a place using an engine powered boat (they can be detected by a BCB002S device) then walking several kilometers (they can be seen by a human and he/she could trigger a BCB001 Panic Button) and so on.

BCB'S

REGIONAL CORES ALLOW TO CREATE

SMALL AND PRETTY LARGE

SURVEILLANCE

NETWORKS

They are silent boxes but they do a lot of things:

  • They automatically set-up the cell configuration by using GPS coordinates.

  • They manage device states.

  • They collect device events.

  • They understand ongoing situation given the events being reported by other devices / cores.

  • They coordinate with other cores.

  • They communicate with the external world (e.g. Rangers)

As you can see, when BCB is deployed as a surveillance network regional cores are of an extreme importance. As they are a key component for the rest of the devices they are implemented with a different approach, in that regard extreme low power consumption doesn't apply to them because they need to be active almost all the time, they require more energy to operate and they are more sophisticated in terms of connectivity being able to be extended to use any form of comms. The basic configuration implies at least two LoRa radios and a celular board( e.g. GSM, LTE is on the plans).
